OTC · Spot

Spot, matched and recorded.

A spot trade between two participants, or between a participant and a venue, each acting through their own accounts. The desk finds the match and keeps the record. It does not take the other side.

What it is

A one-for-one exchange of two assets at an agreed price, settled now.

The desk introduces the two sides, holds the agreed terms, and writes the matched trade to its record. Each side keeps its own assets in its own account throughout.

How settlement is recorded

Each side settles in its own account. The desk writes the matched terms and both confirmations to the day's record, computes the SHA-256 of that record and publishes it once, so anyone can check it was not changed.

Both legs are released together by an atomic settlement contract, which is in preparation.

Fees

A flat fee schedule. It is never a share of price, spread or profit.

Numbers on request.

Who it is for

Treasuries and projects that hold assets in an account of their own and want a counterparty and a record.

Eligible participants only. Not offered to retail.

This line opens by request. Tell the desk what you need and it will say what can be done.

What you get

  • Record. A hashed daily record: every matched trade or quote, with the terms and confirmations, closed once a UTC day and published with its SHA-256.
  • Dashboard. The public dashboard is the Record page. A participant console, by invitation, follows.
  • Verify. Check any day in your browser: hash the file yourself and compare. Nothing is uploaded.
  • Export. The day's JSON, byte for byte, to keep and re-check later.

Venues: as connected, listed on /record/. A sample report is the latest close on the Record page; it is a paper record.

How onboarding works

  1. Request a desk at /intake/: who you are, which line, a size range.
  2. The desk screens the parties. Nothing substantive is shared before that is done.
  3. A written engagement paper states the scope, the flat fee and which accounts you keep, before anything is agreed.
  4. Your venue accounts are linked as connected and listed on /record/; you keep the keys and the assets.
  5. Each day closes into the record and its SHA-256 is published, so you can check any day yourself.
